From Shropshire

  1. Take the A41 or A49 north past Whitchurch, and head for Chester.
  2. As you enter Chester outskirts, the speed limit changes from 50mph down to 40 mph. You will pass a pub called the Black Dog on the left - immediately after the pub, turn right into Eggbridge Lane, signposted ‘Waverton’, by White House Antiques.
  3. Stay on this road, which becomes Guy Lane as you reach the middle of Waverton village.
  4. Carry on for another mile, passing the famous Crocky Trail on your left, and turn right into Martin’s Lane.
  5. After half a mile you will reach Greenlooms Cottage.
  6. Don’t be seduced by Greenlooms Cottages and Greenlooms Farm which you will pass on your way here – they are not us!
